Private schools in Dubai have received higher ratings during the 2022 to 2023 academic year compared to the 2018 to 2019 academic year, the last full inspection cycle.
The school inspection results released by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), show that 77% of the schools were rated either 'Good', 'Very Good, or 'Outstanding', which is a 7% increase on the 2018 to 2019 academic year.
A total of 199 private schools were assessed during the 2022 to 2023 academic year, including six new schools inspected for the first time. Of these 20 schools were rated 'Outstanding', 39 'Very Good' and 84 'Good'.
The inspections saw 25 schools increase their ratings.
Additionally, 76% of Emirati students attend schools rated 'Good', 'Very Good, or 'Outstanding', compared to 70% during the 2018 to 2019 academic year.
