The Ministry of Education (MoE) has launched its Specialised Training Week from 24 to 28 August, preparing more than 24,000 school leaders, teachers, and support staff across the UAE for the 2026 - 2027 academic year.

The hybrid professional development programme incorporates over 80 targeted workshops delivered both in person and remotely. Training modules focus on artificial intelligence integration in classrooms, data-driven student assessments, inclusive learning, gifted student mentoring, and institutional leadership.

Her Excellency Sarah Al Amiri, Minister of Education of the UAE, stated that the initiative aims to align teaching staff with modern digital tools and elevate overall classroom standards from day one of term, and said "The Specialised Training Week serves as a strategic national platform to integrate artificial intelligence, foster institutional innovation and empower our educators to lead sustainable, world-class academic environments."

A dedicated development track is tailored specifically for 1,700 school administrators, including 500 principals and 1,200 vice principals, through practical leadership labs designed to refine operational decision-making.
