New Pedestrian And Cycling Bridge Opens At Mushrif National Park

Dubai Municipality has officially opened a new 102 metre bridge at Mushrif National Park, uniting previously separated sections of the emirate's popular mountain biking and hiking trail network.

The structure features two distinct lanes, one reserved exclusively for mountain cyclists and another for foot traffic, and spans 182 metres in total end-to-end journey distance. By elevating trail users over active vehicular roads, the bridge eliminates a key safety hazard for outdoor enthusiasts navigating Dubai's largest natural forest.

The addition transforms the park's usability by creating an uninterrupted route. Outdoor visitors can now start their journey at the Mushrif Hub, accessing the connected trails without having to pause or navigate traffic.

The project forms part of wider municipal efforts to expand purpose-built green spaces, catering to the growing demand for safe hiking and cycling venues across Dubai.
