Coastal residents in Dubai and Abu Dhabi should prepare for elevated humidity levels, overnight mist, and daytime high temperatures across the UAE between Monday 21 September and Thursday 24 September.
Official updates from the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) indicate that weak surface pressure systems, combined with an extension of an upper-air high-pressure system, will maintain warm and humid conditions through the mid-week period. Daytime temperatures across coastal and internal zones will remain high, alongside early morning fog risks that may impact commuter visibility.
Temperatures will reach highs of 45°C in Dubai and 44°C in Abu Dhabi on Monday, before dropping to between 41°C and 42°C in Dubai on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and 41°C in Abi Dhabi on Tuesday and Wednesday and 37°C on Thursday. Evening lows will reach between 29°C and 31°C in Dubai and between 28°C and 33°C in Abu Dhabi.
