Well, here is a look at all the expected holidays for the year.
With the Holy Month of Ramadan around a month away and expected to start on either Wednesday, 22 March or Thursday, 23 March, Ramadan lasts for either 29 to 30 days.
Eid Al Fitr will likely fall on either Thursday, 20 April or Friday, 21 April.
For most people, Saturday, 22 April and Sunday, 23 April is the weekend, so a three or four-day break is expected.
Arafat Day is expected to fall on either Tuesday, 27 June or Wednesday, 28 June, followed by Eid Al Adha from Wednesday, 28 June, to Saturday, 1 July. While including the weekend, a four to five-day break is on the cards.
On Wednesday, 19 July, the Islamic New Year will begin, with Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) Birthday, falling on Wednesday, 27 September, and will be marked as a public holiday.
The 53rd National Day weekend will be the last public holiday for the year but as it falls on the weekend, most people can expect a three-day break.
