Some prisoners serving various sentences in UAE prisons are set to get a new lease of life.
Ahead of the Holy month of Ramadan, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates has ordered the release of 3,005 prisoners and has pledged to settle their financial obligations following their release from jail.
The gesture is part of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa's attempt to provide prisoners an opportunity to start a new life and ease their families hardships.
