Construction seems to be never-ending in Dubai and with every new project, Dubai tends to get more innovative and creating interesting places for visitors and residents alike.
In no time, Dubai will have a beautiful 380 metre long and 60 feet high Sky Garden footbridge spanning over an area of 3,422 sqm. The bridge will connect the city’s major attractions along the shores of Dubai Creek. Along with a lot of green areas, the bridge will have multilevel lanes for cycling, and visitors will get a stunning 360 degree view of old and new Dubai. Aiming to become a tourist attraction once open, the bridge will also accommodate commercial outlets and shaded areas for outdoor workouts.
The project will be developed by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and has been approved by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
