With summer here, Dubai Police has launched the 'Summer Without Accidents' campaign, offering free car inspections at AutoPro centres across the UAE until the end of August. This service is available to all private car owners and focusses on key maintenance areas like air conditioning, tyre pressure, and engine health, to ensure vehicle safety during the hot months.
Dubai Police announced on X, formerly known as Twitter, that the free inspection by AutoPro will cover the following areas:
- Seatbelt condition
- Air condition and air filter
- Windshield washer fluid
- Wiper blades condition
- Battery health
- Radiator hoses condition
- Tyre pressure condition
- Engine oil and coolant level
- Light
- Fluid levels
As UAE temperatures rise, tyre bursts increase accidents. Motorists should get car check-ups by August's end.
Stay hydrated and take care while driving. Avoid leaving items like deodorant cans, batteries, power banks, hand sanitisers, and perfumes in cars as they risk causing fires when exposed to sunlight.
