His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council and Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), has launched a program aimed at training teachers in Dubai on artificial intelligence (AI) and its practical applications. The initiative aims to empower educators with the skills and insights necessary to guide students who can effectively utilise technological advancements, including AI, in their learning journeys.
Under the supervision of the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence and in partnership with the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), the initiative is in line with the objectives of the newly introduced Dubai Universal Blueprint for Artificial Intelligence (DUB.AI). Top educators who demonstrate the most innovative use of AI technologies to improve educational results will be honoured with awards totalling Dhs 1 million at the upcoming AI Retreat on 29 April 2025.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan said, “The aim of this initiative is to empower our teachers with AI skills to enhance their professional capabilities and enrich the educational experience of our students. This initiative embodies our commitment to anticipating the future, and to innovation and excellence in education, and preparing our upcoming generations for the future.”
