Dubai To Host World Sports Summit In December

Dubai is set to host the World Sports Summit for the first time this December, following a directive by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai.

The event will be held at Madinat Jumeirah on 29 and 30 December and is expected to be one of the largest global gatherings in the sports industry, bringing together star athletes, coaches, experts, and decision-makers from around the world. His Highness Sheikh Hamdan, who is a passionate sports enthusiast and a globally known equestrian champion, continues to promote innovations in sports and advocacy for physical activity.

The summit, organised by the Dubai Sports Council, will feature panel talks, workshops, and keynote speeches focused on enhancing national teams and clubs, the role of schools and academies in developing talent, making sports more inclusive and entertaining for audiences and more.

The event will see some of the biggest names in sports, and will include discussions that could shape the future of youth development and school sports, and contribute to Dubai becoming a leader in global sports innovation.
