Dubai drivers are expected to see adjustments to Salik toll pricing from 1 June 2026.
The updated pricing will see 5% VAT added to all crossing charges.
Dubai's Salik operates a dynamic pricing model, with peak fees of Dhs 6 and off-peak fees of Dhs 4. From 1 June, 5% VAT will be added to these fees.
Dubai’s toll system has become a key part of the city’s wider traffic management strategy, particularly as vehicle numbers continue to grow across major roads and highways.
Transport experts say dynamic toll pricing can help reduce congestion and improve traffic distribution across urban areas when introduced effectively.
