As the summer heats up, Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2025 is turning the city’s malls into indoor race tracks with six fun-filled mall runs for the entire community. These events promise something for everyone including seasoned athletes and families looking to stay active.
The action starts on 28 June at Dubai Hills Mall with the DSS Indoor Run powered by Skechers, offering distances of 1km, 2.5km, 5km or 10km. Expect a lively atmosphere with upbeat tunes, refreshments, finisher medals, certificates, and prizes for the top three in each category.
Next up is the Active Summer run on 6 July at City Centre Mirdif, organised by Dubai Sports Council. Adults can choose from 3km or 5km, while children aged 4 to 15 can join a special 850m sprint. All participants receive medals and certificates, and winners walk away with cash, vouchers, and SHARE points. Registration priced at Dhs 47.25.
Ibn Battuta Mall takes the spotlight on 13 July, offering 2.5km, 5km, and 10km options with early bird registration starting from Dhs 85. Finishers get medals and branded t-shirts, with awards for podium placements in each age group.
The momentum carries on with more runs on 3 August at Mall of the Emirates and 10 August at Wafi Mall, before wrapping up at Dubai Festival City Mall on 31 August with an energy-packed finale full of giveaways, cheers, and community spirit.
All races are held in fully air-conditioned venues, making them ideal for families, fitness lovers, and first-timers.
