Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced a new naming rights partnership that will see Jebel Ali Metro Station renamed to National Paints Metro Station for the next decade.
The station, located at the southern end of the Red Line between DMCC Metro Station in JLT and Ibn Battuta Metro Station, is a major connecting hub for commuters travelling to and from Abu Dhabi, Jebel Ali Free Zone, and the Expo area.
The renaming comes as part of a strategic deal with National Paints, the region’s largest paints and coatings manufacturer. The move reflects Dubai’s ongoing efforts to strengthen public-private partnerships, with officials highlighting the collaboration as a way to generate economic opportunities and support urban development.
From July through October, the RTA will begin updating all signs, maps, announcements and digital channels to reflect the new name, ensuring a smooth transition for commuters across the network.
