The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has issued yellow and orange alerts due to the ongoing rainfall in the country. NCM has also advised residents to adhere to all the guidelines provided by the authorities. Additionally, the NCM took to X, previously known as Twitter, to share information about the areas that experienced rainfall at midnight.
Abu Dhabi saw heavy rainfall on Yas Island, while there was light rain at Abu Dhabi International Airport and light to moderate showers in the Al Nouf, Al Falah, and Al Dharfa regions. In Dubai, Ras Al Khor experienced light rain, whereas Sharjah and Umm Al Quwain recorded moderate to heavy rainfall.
In an effort to enhance road safety, Abu Dhabi Police have issued a cautionary notice to drivers, urging them to exercise caution and remain vigilant regarding fluctuating speed limits, which are prominently displayed on electronic signs along the roads.
The lowest temperature, at 11.8°C, was observed in Jais Mountain, located in Ras Al Khaimah. In Abu Dhabi and Dubai, temperatures are expected to fluctuate between 25°C and 32°C, with heavy rains anticipated today. The sea conditions will vary, ranging from moderate to rough, particularly when clouds are present in the Arabian Gulf, and it will be generally slight to moderate, with occasional rough patches, in the Oman Sea.
