The challenge to complete a row of 4,800 kilometres crossing the Pacific Ocean was completed by Brothers 'N Oars, within 39 days.
The team of four friends, Oliver Amos, Harry Amos, Paris Norriss and Barney Lewis, join 82 other people that have also achieved the remarkable feat. The group powered through storms and rogue waves to complete the challenge.
Organised by Atlantic Campaigns, the challenge featured thirteen different teams, trying to achieve a world record of completing the distance of the Pacific Ocean, in the shortest time.
The challenge set off in Monterey, California in June and finished off in Kauai, Hawaii.
The group also raised funds and awareness for two initiatives, one on marine conservation, through a partnership with Blue Marine Conservation, and the other for the Invictus Games Foundation, which aids veterans through sports.
Paris Norriss said, "I am deeply honoured to be part of this awe-inspiring journey with Oli, Harry, and Barney. Our friendship served as an anchor through every challenge, and we discovered the true essence of teamwork."
