A British expat, became a multi-millionaire overnight after winning the Mahzooz weekly UAE draw.
Announced on 9 July, Reece received the Dhs 10,000,000 prize, five days before getting married.
Reece said, "I've been in the UAE for four years and have been participating in Mahzooz since December 2020. I had always kept my hopes high, and here I am today, Dhs 10 million dirhams richer. As soon as I learned about the win I shared the happy news with my fiancé and my parents, and they were shocked and in tears of joy. I am extremely grateful for Mahzooz, and now I need to carefully decide what to do with the money.”
Since its launch, Mahzooz has made 25 people multi-millionaires, with three receiving the grand prize in the past four weeks.
The Golden Summer Draw will be held on 30 July, and all that participate in the weekly draws get a chance to win 1kg of gold every month.
On purchasing a water bottle for Dhs 35, participants are given a one-line entry into the grand draw and another entry into the raffle draw, doubling their chances of winning.
The top prize weekly of Dhs 10,000,000 is given for matching all five numbers, with the second prize of Dhs 1,000,000 and the third prize of Dhs 350 given.
