The AccessAbilities Expo, the region's largest exhibition for People of Determination, in partnership with the Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award (HIPA), has launched 'Determination Without Limits', a global photography competition celebrating the achievements and resilience of People of Determination.
Open to both professional and amateur photographers worldwide, the contest aims to highlight how People of Determination inspire others, overcome challenges and contribute meaningfully to society. A special focus is also on empowering photographers from this community by showcasing their work on a prestigious international platform.
Submissions are open from 11 August to 7 September, through the official HIPA website. A judging panel will select winners, who will be announced during a ceremony on 8 October, the final day of the AccessAbilities Expo at Dubai World Trade Centre.
The competition features five categories including 'Hope in Inclusion', 'Artistic Inclusion', 'Assistive Technology and Innovation', 'Sports Inclusion', and 'Accessible Environments'. Each category will focus on one inspiring aspect of the lives of People of Determination.
Winners will receive cash prizes, certificates of recognition, and the opportunity to have their work displayed in a dedicated gallery at the AccessAbilities Expo.
