Abu Dhabi has taken a significant step to strengthen workers’ rights and streamline legal processes with the launch of the Abu Dhabi Labour Prosecution. The new body was established under a resolution by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department.
The specialised prosecution will investigate and handle claims related to both labour and domestic workers, within the geographical scope of Abu Dhabi.
Comprising a chief prosecutor and a team of prosecution members and specialised staff, the Abu Dhabi Labour Prosecution is designed to ensure swift, efficient and transparent judicial procedures.
