Four new cases of monkeypox have been announced in the UAE, by the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP).
The first case was announced on 25 May followed by three more cases on 30 May, bringing the total number of cases in the UAE to eight.
The new cases were detected in line with the health authorities in the UAE's policy for early detection and monitoring of the disease.
The health authorities are currently investigating, examining close contacts and monitoring their health.
