First Case Of Monkeypox Detected In The UAE

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has announced that the first case of monkeypox has been detected in the UAE.

The first case was detected in a woman from West Africa, aged 29 years old and is currently receiving treatment.

MoHAP along with other health authorities, will work to reduce the spread of monkeypox in the UAE.

Individuals are urged to not believe false information and to only get information from official sources.
