The Museum of the Future, known for being a technology and architecture hub will also feature a diverse garden, with around 100 plant species planted.
The garden will support local bee and bird populations and is also equipped with a smart, automated irrigation system, that will help the plants and trees thrive.
Representing the past, present and future, the garden will have the ghaf tree, sidr tree, palm tree and acacia tree which are known to thrive in the hot, desert climate.
The garden is situated on a steep plateau and due to the climate, traditional landscaping was not optimal and a special method was created to ensure the longevity of the plants and trees.
As the Museum of the Future is gearing up to open its doors on 22 February, two iconic monuments lit up to record this special opening.
The Burj Khalifa and the Expo 2020 Dubai at the Al Wasl Dome lit up with the architecture design of the museum.
