Dubai Airports Reopen; Airlines Resume Limited Flights

Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) have reopened for limited flights following a temporary halt in operations on 7 March. Passengers are advised not to travel to the airport unless they have been contacted by their airline. 

Emirates Airline has also resumed flight operations to and from DXB after a brief suspension earlier today. Passengers with confirmed bookings for afternoon flights, including those transiting through Dubai with operating connections, are advised to head to the airport.

Passengers booked for travel on or before 30 April can request a refund or manage bookings via the Emirates website. Emirates said the situation remains dynamic and will be monitored continuously. Emirates carried approximately 30,000 passengers out of Dubai on 5 March.

Flydubai has also resumed operations to and from Dubai. Passengers are advised not to travel ot the airport unless they have a confirmed booking. The airline is closely monitoring the situation. 

Meanwhile, Etihad Airways has released its latest flight schedule for the coming days. Passengers with confirmed bookings will be accommodated on these new flights, and tickets are also available for sale on the Etihad website. Services are currently operating between Abu Dhabi and several major international destinations until 19 March. 

Guests holding Etihad tickets issued on or before 28 February, with original travel dates up to 21 March, may rebook free of charge onto Etihad-operated flights up to 15 May. Travellers on all Etihad flights until 21 March may request a refund through the airline's website or through their travel agent.

Air Arabia has started operating a limited number of flights to and from the UAE from 6 March. Customers whose flights were previously cancelled may also rebook, modify, or request a refund option. Flights remain subject to operational and regulatory approvals.
