UAE Weather: Hot And Dusty Weekend Ahead

Residents across the UAE can expect a hot and mainly fair weekend from Friday, 8 May to Sunday, 10 May, according to weather forecasts.

Friday is expected to be mostly fair with a slight drop in temperatures along coastal areas. Winds will become stronger at times, especially over the sea, with rough conditions possible in the Arabian Gulf. Temperatures are expected to reach highs of 40°C in Dubia and Abu Dhabi and 43°C in Fujairah and lows of 28°C in Abu Dhabi, 29°C Dubai and Fujairah dropping to 32°C.

On Saturday, dusty weather is likely in some areas as northwesterly winds continue across the country. Temperatures will remain high during the day, particularly in inland areas. Temperatures will see highs of 37°C in Dubai, 39°C in Abu Dhabi and Ras al Khaimah reaching 42°C. Evening and night time temperatures will drop to 26°C in Dubai, 27°C in Abu Dhabi and 20°C in Ras al Khaimah,

Sunday is expected to stay hot and dry, with temperatures reaching 40°C in Fujairah, 36°C in Dubai, and 39°C in Abu Dhabi, with lows of 29°C in Fujairah, 26°C in Dubai, and 25°C in Abu Dhabi. Humidity levels may increase during the night and early morning hours.

Residents are advised to stay hydrated and avoid long periods outdoors during peak afternoon heat.
