Dubai Police Record Near-Perfect 99.9% Daytime Safety Score

Dubai Police have recorded a near-perfect 99.9% score in the daytime safety perception index, reinforcing the emirate’s global standing as one of the safest places to live, work, and visit.

The figures stem from the 2025 Security Quality of Life Survey. The study was conducted by the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior. It evaluates how secure residents feel during their day-to-day activities across the city.

The daytime safety metric forms part of the broader national Security Quality of Life Index, where Dubai Police secured an overall score of 98.2%. The index comprises three main pillars. Alongside the daytime score, the force achieved a 98.7% rating for residents feeling safe whilst walking alone at night, and a 96.2% score for public confidence in local police stations.

The high scores correspond with significant investments in smart policing and digital accessibility. The force revealed that its digital transformation strategy achieved a 97.7% digital adoption rate for transactions during 2025.

Over the same period, Dubai Police successfully processed more than 218 million digital transactions, with customer happiness regarding these electronic channels reaching 96.9%. Operationally, the force managed 6.9 million emergency and non-emergency calls throughout the year, demonstrating rapid response capabilities.

The survey results follow separate international recognition for the department. Earlier evaluations by Brand Finance ranked Dubai Police as the world’s strongest police brand, awarding it a top AAA+ strength rating and a score of 9.2 out of 10 based on stakeholder research across ten countries. The assessment estimated the force's contribution to the UAE's national brand value at Dhs 57.9 billion.
