Little Miss India, located at Fairmont The Palm, has launched a limited-time culinary campaign titled 'Mohini’s Travel Diary' to highlight the historical trade routes and culinary links between India and the Arabian Gulf. Running from July until September 2026, the seasonal menu features an à la carte selection with individual dishes starting from Dhs 95, targeting Dubai residents and summer visitors.
Co-created by Head Chef Mohammed Arif, the menu uses the restaurant's fictional hostess, Mohini Singh, to trace how spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques have moved between the two regions for generations. The concept aims to appeal to the multicultural demographic of the UAE by blending familiar local elements with traditional subcontinental cooking methods.
The curated dishes combine regional street food staples with classic recipes. Notable menu options include the Karare Aloo Falafel Chaat, which pairs Middle Eastern falafel with yoghurt, tamarind, and mint chutney, and the Limbu Rubiyan, featuring fresh prawns marinated in lime and coriander cooked in a traditional tandoor oven. The menu also includes Jaituni Malai Tangdi infused with olives and saffron, a slow-cooked Gosht Dum Biryani, Lamb Arayes Kulcha, and Zaatar Cheese Naan.
To finish, the restaurant has introduced a Pistachio Kunafa Falooda, which combines pistachio kulfi and saffron vermicelli with crispy regional kunafa pastry.
The dining experience is accompanied by a dedicated beverage selection of curated mocktails that incorporate regional staples such as dates, rose, and pomegranate alongside Indian botanicals.
