Private sector employees across the UAE will enjoy a four-day holiday this June for Arafat Day and Eid Al-Adha, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has just announced.
The holiday will begin on Thursday, 5 June and continue through Sunday, 8 June, giving private sector workers a full four-day break, including the weekend. Work will resume on Monday, 9 June.
The Eid Al-Adha holidays for public sector employees was already announced on 28 May.
The announcement also follows the official sighting of the crescent moon on 27 May, which confirmed Wednesday, 28 May to be the first day of Dhu Al Hijjah, and Eid Al-Adha commencing on Friday, 6 June. To read more, check out Connector's story HERE.
