The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources has announced that public sector employees in the UAE will receive a four-day holiday to celebrate Eid Al-Adha 2025.
The official break begins on Thursday, 5 June on Arafat Day and runs through Sunday, 8 June. Regular work will resume on Monday, 9 June.
This announcement follows the confirmed sighting of the crescent moon on Tuesday, 27 May, which confirmed Wednesday, 28 May to be the first day of Dhu Al Hijjah, and Eid Al-Adha commencing on Friday, 6 June. To read more, check out Connector's story HERE.
