Ramadan Prayer Timings Announced

The General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments has announced the prayer timings during Ramadan.

The beginning of Ramadan is based on the sighting of the moon but is expected to start on Thursday, 23 March.

On 23 March, fasting will begin at 5.02am, when the Fajir prayer starts and will last for 13 hours and 33 minutes till Maghrib prayers at 6.35pm.

The Holy Month of Ramadan lasts for 29 to 30 days.

On 20 April, when Ramadan is expected to end, the fasting period will last for 14 hours and 16 minutes, with Fajir prayers starting at 4.31am and Maghrib prayers held at 6.47pm

Depending on the sighting of the moon, the dates for Eid Al Fitr are announced.
