The Green Planet Dubai has added two young sloth sisters to its family.
The tropical rainforest bio-dome, home to over 3,000 plants and animals has given the mammals from the rainforest canopies in Central and South America a new home.
The sloth experience, now home to five sloths, will allow visitors to interact with the cuddly and sleepy species.
Known for sleeping around 15 to 20 hours every day, sloths are the most active at night.
According to the International Union Conservation of Nature, two-toed sloths are the least concern in the wild.
Sloths usually feed on leaves that are available and on fruits and flowers when they are in season, and can take up to a month to digest their food.
Ticket prices start at Dhs 335 for an entry ticket and access to the sloth experience, and are available on The Green Planet website.
