Dubai is set to welcome the region’s largest gathering of podcasters and audio content creators on 30 September, as Dubai Press Club (DPC) hosts the fifth edition of Dubai PodFest under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council.
Coinciding with International Podcast Day, the event will bring together leading Arab podcasters, media organisations, and production platforms to discuss trends shaping the podcast industry. It will provide a platform to share success stories, address industry challenges, and highlight opportunities to expand the reach of Arabic content.
Her Excellency Mona Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council and President of DPC, said the event reflects Dubai’s vision to position itself as a hub for Arab media and a global destination for creative talent. Speakers and sessions will focus on empowering emerging creators, strengthening partnerships, and driving innovation in audio storytelling.
The event will feature panel discussions, workshops, and interactive sessions, with a strong emphasis on nurturing talent and supporting the region’s growing digital media sector. Registrations are open on the DPC website.
