Abu Dhabi has been recognised once again as the top pandemic-resilient city in the world.
Announced by Deep Knowledge Analytics (DKA), a London-based DeepTech analytical subsidiary of Deep Knowledge Group (DKG), the recognition is in line with the city's dedication to efficiently managing the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the first half of 2021, in a similar report, Abu Dhabi was ranked as the leading city globally.
The assessment was done in 100 cities, with Abu Dhabi coming out on top.
The report is based on six parameters to prevent the spread of COVID-19 including government efficiency, economic resilience, healthcare management, quarantine measures, vaccination strategy and cultural compliance.
Abu Dhabi managed the pandemic and ensured business continued without any closures, reaching over 500,000 COVID-19 tests per day through drive-in testing and almost 100% of the community received the COVID-19 vaccination.
