Dubai school buses have been equipped and are ready for the start of the new academic year.
As confirmed by The Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) at Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), the school buses have been equipped with the latest technologies for travel without any issues.
Over 24,000 students in Dubai use school transportation.
Surveillance cameras and sensors have been fitted with the latest technology to ensure that no child gets left behind, an emergency notification system that is synced with the control centre, GPS bus tracking systems for bus boarding and locations of students and a self-extinguishing engine system are available.
All bus drivers and supervisors have also undergone training programmes on safe and responsible driving practices per RTA’s guidelines.
Schools and parents can register students and update their information through the DTC website and the DTC School Bus app.
