The UAE Cabinet has announced that non-essential employees in the federal sector can work from home.
The work from home issue is for employees in Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah, that are in rain-affected areas.
The decision will be applicable on Thursday and Friday.
Federal authorities in civil defence, police and security agencies dealing with disasters, crises and emergencies and community support are exempt from the decision.
