Abu Dhabi Police have launched a 'Summer Safe' campaign as peak summer rolls around.
The campaign highlights not leaving a child alone in a car as it puts their lives at risk.
Leaving a child in a locked car can lead to their death or choking as the summer heat causes less oxygen in the car.
Individuals found violating this rule will get up to Dhs 1 million fines as well as a 10-year jail sentence.
