The Dubai Tourist Police returned lost luggage as well as cash to a tourist within 30 minutes of losing it.
The tourist had lost two bags, a mobile phone, a wallet, credit cards, a passport and cash while on public transport.
On receiving the report at the call centre, the police formed a team and using smart systems were able to track the tourists journey.
On identifying the bus taken from La Mer to Palm Jumeirah, the driver was contacted, who had found the items but did not know who they belonged to and the items were returned to the owner.
