Disney+, the streaming service for all Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, National Geographic and Star movies and television shows, has now launched in the UAE.
Launched on Wednesday, 8 June, the event was held at Dubai Opera and featured an amazing show with an amazing line-up of performers.
D'cappella, a Disney acapella group, performed renditions of 'You're Welcome' by Moana, 'Circle of Life' from The Lion King and more.
Performances from the cast of Disney Princess The Concert were also held and had the Broadway singers singing 'I Won't Say I'm In Love' from Hercules and 'A Whole New World' by Aladdin.
In celebration of the launch of Disney+ in the UAE, the Burj Khalifa also lit up featuring movies and television shows currently available on the platform.
The streaming service has content suited for both adults and kids and will be available to watch on any device from laptops, tablets and TV.
Priced at Dhs 29.99 for the month and Dhs 298.99 for an annual subscription, the membership will allow streaming on four devices at the same time in 4K HD.
