His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has announced a new unemployment insurance scheme.
The scheme was announced during a cabinet meeting at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi.
With the scheme, an insured worker will be given a cash amount for a certain time period, when unemployed.
The initiative will help in creating a stable work environment for all.
