The Spartan World Championship 2022 will be held in Abu Dhabi this year.
The popular sporting and endurance challenge will be held on 3 and 4 December along with a new challenging course.
Hosted for the second year in Abu Dhabi, the event will be held at Al Wathba, with the course featuring a desert terrain along with sand dune trails.
The Spartan athletes that qualify throughout the racing season will compete for the men's and women's individual World Championship Super on 3 December for prize money of Dhs 459,122 ($125,000).
On 4 December, the Team World Championship Super will be held.
People can also participate in the Age Group World Championship Beast and Open Beast on 3 December and the Open Team Super, Open Super, Open Sprint and Kids Open on 4 December.
Throughout the year in 14 countries, two regional championships and wild card events will take place to participate in the Elite and competitive Age Group division.
The Open Beast, Open Team Super, Open Super and Kids Open do not require any qualifications to participate.
