The Most Noble Number charity auction held in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday 20 April raised Dhs 111 million for the 1 Billion Meals initiative.
The 1 Billion Meals initiative aims at contributing meals to underprivileged people in 50 different countries.
Held at Emirates Palace, the highest bid of the night was Dhs 23.3 million, received towards the Abu Dhabi number plate 2 with the code 2 .
The number plate 11 with code 2 and the plate 99 with code 1 were each sold for Dhs 5 million.
Dhs 4.25 million was raised from plate 20 with code 2 and Dhs 1.7 million from number plate 999 with code 2.
Additionally, Dhs 601,000 was collected from various unique du mobile numbers and Dhs 419,000 was received from special Etisalat numbers.
