The first Most Noble Numbers Charity Auction for special vehicle plate numbers and mobile numbers, raised Dhs 53 million, in support of the 1 Billion Meals campaign.
With the donations collected from the auction, the total number of donations collected has now reached Dhs 391 million.
The highest bid at the auction was for the single-digit vehicle plate number AA8 for Dhs 35 million.
The Diamond mobile number, 054-9999999 amounted to Dhs 5 million.
The other three double-digit vehicle plate numbers sold were F55 and V66 for Dhs 4 million and Y66 for Dhs 3.8 million.
The Diamond mobile numbers from Etisalat were sold for a total of Dhs 5.42 million with special du numbers sold for Dhs 725,000.
The charity auctions will next be held in Abu Dhabi at the Emirates Palace on 20 April and is also held online for the rest of today (18 April) via the Emirates Auction website or app.
