Drivers in Abu Dhabi can now pay for their parking tickets through a new method.
The Integrated Transport Centre of the Department of Municipalities and Transport of Abu Dhabi has announced that payments can now be made digitally through the Darb app.
Drivers can use the available e-wallet balance on the app to pay for standard and premium parking, without having to send an SMS.
To pay, the driver needs to click on the pay for parking icon and enter the vehicle, category of parking space and the number of hours required.
The amount will automatically be deducted.
Additionally, individuals can use the M-Mawaqif e-wallet to pay via SMS till the balance is zero and then switch to using the Darb app.
Mawaqif rechargeable cards can also be linked to the Darb app.
