In celebration of Easter this weekend, Waitrose has partnered with Heston Blumenthal, the innovative multi-sensory chef to bring unique chocolate Easter eggs.
The exquisite Golden Apple egg, inspired by Issac Newton and his law for gravity will feature shimmering blonde chocolate with a layer of thick dark chocolate along with six praline feuilletine chocolates.
Also, returning this year are the Eggstraordinary Speckled Eggs, the Chocolate Scotch Egg and the Eggstraordinary Hen's Eggs.
The Eggstraordinary Speckled Eggs will feature blue speckled mini eggs filled with fleur de sel caramel.
A play on the savoury dish, the Chocolate Scotch Egg uses milk chocolate maple crunch in place of the breadcrumbs, the meat as milk chocolate caramel ganache and the yolk in the centre, made with a mango and yuzu fondant.
The Eggstraordinary Hen's Eggs are white chocolate eggs made with a two-tone banoffee centre, layers of banana puree ganache and dark chocolate caramel ganache.
The chocolates are only available during Easter and the prices for the unique Easter chocolates start from Dhs 50.
