Callisto Collection by SJ Gold and Diamond is set to hold an auction for the biggest rough ruby in the world.
On 15 April at Waldorf Astoria DIFC, the gemstone will make its first appearance.
The gemstone called 'Burj Alhamal' or 'Aries' is a variegated purplish-red rough ruby of 8,400 carats and weighing 2.8kg.
Tamer Hassan, a popular Hollywood actor will unveil the gem.
The rare ruby will be auctioned after Ramadan and the estimated value of the gemstone is Dhs 432 million.
