Travelport, a global technology company for travel bookings has named the UAE as the most recovered country in the world.
In terms of travel in 2019, UAE recorded the most at 110%.
Dubai has currently recovered by 114% and is the second most recovered country in the Middle East and the fifth in the world.
The top five countries travelling to the UAE are the United Kingdom, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Germany.
Dubai is also currently the top business travel destination in the world, surpassing London, which was number one in 2019.
29% of all the bookings for travel to Dubai are made by corporate travellers, due to events like Expo 2020 Dubai and Dubai World Cup.
