The Waterfront Market, the premier fresh food market in Dubai, has announced the winner for the fourth edition of the Murals and Art Competition.
The winning prize of Dhs 50,000 was given to Nemar Sencil who will also have his artwork permanently displayed.
The theme for the year was 'History of the Future', which was held in celebration of the UAE's 50th year.
Nemar Sencil, winner of the Murals and Art Competition said, "I am honoured to have my mural design permanently displayed at the Waterfront Market, marking a golden milestone and celebrating the United Arab Emirates progressive thinking; the 'History of the Future' mural comprises details that translate the country's 50 years achievements.
