Jebel Jais has launched a new ride called the Jais Sledder, to add more thrills for visitors.
The is set to open up to the public today.
The origin of sleds dates back to the 19th century and was used as transportation for people and items.
Enjoy the stunning view of the Hajar mountains as well as the delightful views of the coastline as you go along.
The ride 1,840 metres long, reaching up to 40kph, and when closer to the ground, the sled picks up speed with twists and turns, and lasts for around eight minutes.
Operating from 9am to 5.30pm, ticket prices for a single ride start at Dhs 40 for adults and Dhs 60 for an adult and a child.
