Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, stars of the new film 83, watched as the Burj Khalifa lit up for the film release.
The film is directed by Kabir Khan and tells the tale of how India won the Cricket World Cup in 1983, and all the challenges and hurdles faced to win the title.
Playing the role of Kapil Dev is Ranveer Singh with Deepika Padukone playing Romi Dev, Kapil Dev's wife.
A short highlight of the movie was on display on the Burj Khalifa.
The film will release in cinemas around Dubai on 23 December 2021.
