Over 1.8 million passengers are expected to travel from Dubai Airports from 25 November to 5 December.
An average of 164,000 daily traffic passengers is expected, with 4 December going to be the busiest day during the period and is likely to cross the 190,000 passenger mark.
As the airports are expected to get busy, passengers are advised to arrive at the airport earlier.
Passengers are also advised to check their travel regulations to ensure all the right documentation required is available as well as use online and self-service options for easier check-in.
Only individuals with tickets will be allowed through the departure gates during peak hours.
Travellers going from Terminal 1 need to arrive at the airport at least 3 hours prior to departure with those travelling from Terminal 3 can start checking in 24 hours before departure.
Essa Al Shamsi, Vice President of Terminal Operations at Dubai Airports said, “As always, Dubai Airports is working with airlines, control authorities, and all our other commercial and service partners to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for our customers. Those travelling during this peak period can make their journey smooth and comfortable by following a few simple tips.”
