The Waterfront Market is gearing up for the UAE's golden jubilee with a variety of exciting activities.
The celebrations will run from 25 November to 4 December, with the activities taking place indoors as well as outdoors.
The indoor celebrations will be held at the main atrium from 2pm to 10pm, with activities including Ayala traditional dancing, a roaming parade to a UAE museum act and a dedicated area for kids activities like colouring, card making and making jewellery out of beads.
An outdoor traditional Emirati Heritage Village will be held from 1 to 4 December from 4pm to 10pm, on the promenade.
Visitors can enjoy various areesh tents with each tent highlighting different local cultural activities including fishnet weaving, henna art and pottery.
Chris, the Waterfront Market's Executive Chef will host a series of live cooking demonstrations for traditional Emirati dishes like chicken machboos.
