Schools To Function At Full Capacity

The National Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) has announced updated protocols that will take effect from the second semester of the academic year.

All schools will now return to full capacity, with all precautionary measures followed.

Classes will return to an in-person learning format, with online classes cancelled.

School buses will also return to full capacity with buses required to provide good ventilation for students.

All students aboard the bus are required to wear masks.

Social distancing will still be set in place and mandatory PCR testing will continue.

University accommodations will now require students to be fully vaccinated to enter. For students with medical exemptions for the vaccination, weekly PCR tests will be required.

Parents are now allowed to attend events and activities held at the school.

To enter, green passes are required along with negative PCR tests valid for 96 hours and wearing of face masks is complusory.

All schools will be monitored to ensure all the precautionary measures are being followed.
